Review: The Black Box 168 Eyeshadow Palette

I finally have my own Black Box!! Hmmm.. What's inside? Can you guess?
I always wanted to have my own 88, 120 and 168 eye shadow palette. I think it is best for beginners like me, to experiment and play with colors! Having a palette with so many colors widens your imagination and you can be inspired by everything around you! You can create so many looks with so many colors!
Okay, it is The Black Box because it is in a black box! Simple as that! :) Here are the ingredients of the eye shadows!
What's inside? What's inside? TADAAA! So many vibrant eye shadow colors! It consists of shimmery and matte finishes! 2 layers of eye shadows and a total of 168 colors!
Unwrapping part was so exciting!! I've always wanted to own a palette like this :)
The first layer consists of yellows, oranges, violets, greens, blues, some pinks and some marble colors! They all look vibrant and excellent for learning new eye looks for different occasions!
The second layer have a lot of neutral colors, pinks and some blues, greens and yellows. I love the neutral ones! Perfect for everyday use and for natural look finishes!
And wait, I tried swatching some on my hands.. Wait! It is waterproof! Meaning, it's a bit hard to remove which is a YES YES to me! I love make ups for long wear so I don't need to retouch every now and then. I even tried using petroleum jelly to remove it but it won't do magic! I love it! <3 Now, time to play with colors! :)

Makeup 101: Cheap eye makeup remover.

Looking for a good eye makeup remover but on a very tight budget? Well, I was looking for Godiva Licowhite Lipgloss in Robinisons department store but sadly, it was out of stock so I went to Mercury Drug Store to look for it because I'm really in dire need of a lip balm. Unluckily, there's also none in Mercury Drug so I have no choice but to leave the mall empty handed. I was on my way out of the store when I saw this Apollo Petroleum Jelly in a very tiny jar.

I used to use petroleum jelly as lip balm before so I immediately bought this cute little petroleum jelly jar as an alternative to the lip gloss I was looking for.
See? It is so tiny and cute! Very handy!
The back side has all its uses and to my surprise, it can also be used as an eye makeup remover! TADAAA! Cheap cheap find! For only 25php you'll get a lot of benefits! It says that:
  • Moisturizes dry skin overnight
  • Soothes chapped skin ans lips
  • Soothes minor burns
  • Helps prevent diaper rash
  • Soothes minor scrapes
  • Removes eye make-up
Hooray!
So you'll get 25g for a 25php Apollo Petroleum Jelly. So let me put this into a test if this will be a good eye makeup remover.

HAUL V. 1

Ever since I was young, my eyes are already attached to cosmetics! Whenever we go to malls, I always find it interesting looking for some 'good finds' in the beauty corner.

Here are some of the beauty products slash cosmetics I have with me now that I haven't used before! Some were just given to me :)

My two Revlon matte lipsticks in Smoked Peach and Stormy Pink! Can't wait to use them cause I heard so many good reviews about Revlon's matte lipsticks. I heard they're a good dupe for more expensive cosmetic brands like Mac.

My BYS goodies fresh from Aussie! Animal Instincts lipgloss and long wear lippies! I got two lippies but I already blogged about the shade: Flirty Fuchsia. The picture above is BYS longwear lipstick in Red Hot.
